I think the hardest thing about bouncing back after the baby is the fact that you lost your old glow. Don't be sad that you lost it, you've gained a whole new glow, this one is more powerful. You have to learn how to use it, you have to learn how to rock it and not let it work against you

Being pregnant transforms your body, you may grow wider, you may gain stretch marks, your boobs make it bigger and fall lower than before but I feel like what happens to your body outside is a small transition compared to what happens on the inside. I never felt truly fulfilled until I had my daughter. I was very happy with where I was in life, my career, my relationship, really everything and I thought I had it all but now I know I do. Bouncing back it's hard, I'm honestly still bouncing back myself. I'm not really sure when a person truly feels like they have bounced back because you're not really going back to how you were before you're growing into a new person with the new mindset, body, and heart. It's an exhausting transition mentally and physically. I'm not as confident as I used to be because I'm still learning how to work with this new body and how to go through life putting someone before myself. My clothes don't fit me like I used to, I think being a blogger and wanting to take pictures sometimes I get insecure because things just don't look the same as they used to. When it comes to running errands I can always pick a cute dress to throw on because now it most likely fits tighter and/or shorter. Then you have to think about well I need to breast-feed and it will I bring a bottle? There's a lot of factors that go into all of this and I think with breast-feeding you and the baby and away are still one so it's hard to do things for yourself. I hope I don't scare you away from breast-feeding. It's honestly so amazing and I love it, but as a mama friend told me, you don't really have your freedom as much when you breast-feed. And I feel with all of the influencers on Instagram flaunting their post baby bodies and fabulous, fun, free lifestyles we tend to think that that's how it will be but it's not. There's a small amount of people that are able to look like that and bounce back like that right after baby, especially your first. Bounce back at your own rate mamas, you'll get it back. Remember how to love yourself, while of course is important and fundamental to take care and love your baby it's just as important to love yourself. Don't dwell or be sad that you don't have your old body, you have a new one, And this one is better than before. Work with it, love it!
