So I have a confession, I've eaten like sh*t the past two days I'm talking about fast food, soda, chips, doughnuts, wine, breads..JUST BAD. I had been doing really well but I swear once my groceries run out it gets me in the habit of "ordering one meal and going grocery shopping before it's time for the next meal" however, then comes procrastination station, then G is up from her nap and now it's time for her to eat, oh wow now I'm hungry again. What can I order on Postmates or pick up really quickly! Well, I'm going grocery shopping because I'm ashamed of these past few days lol.

Here's how I like my meals to go:
Breakfast: Half a grapefruit (lots of fiber, good to speed  up your metabolism) 1 egg scrambled with an egg white, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, and 2-3 eggos with organic maple syrup or 2 pieces of toast. -OR- Organic oatmeal with pecans, strawberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg. Made with half water mixed with half almond milk.

Lunch: Turkey burger or last nights eftovers. The burger on a bun with sautéed red onions, spinach, tomato, a little bbq sauce, sweet potato fries.

Dinner: Any protein meat, brown or jasmine rice or potatoes, veggie carrots, spinach, asparagus, Brussel sprouts etc... and taco Tuesdays of course

Dinners:
Chicken breast, long grain rice, broccoli
Baked chicken wings, garlic asparagus, jasmine rice
Steak, baked carrots, baked red potatoes
Salmon, mashed potatoes, spinach

Tacos: Sautéed wild caught, fresh salsa, Mexican cheese, avocado, fresh green onion

Snacks: Cuties, mixed nuts (unsalted, raw), berries, chips & salsa, banana, cliff bar, kind bar, white cheddar popcorn, pressed fruit/veggie drink.

***Of course I make others dishes and eat other things but these are my regulars

When I work out I like to do 10-15 minutes of cardio, walking with a high incline to running flat. Or the elliptical. I do all toning exercises like weighted squats, lunges, crunches, tilts, arm curls. I'm not interested in losing, only toning. I have a variety of videos & screenshots from my favorite workouts and I do select workouts from them. I don't push myself too hard (not yet at least). I will do a video soon!

Let your bodies heal, get back into the gym slowly. My first workout was at 5 months postpartum. I thought I'd be in a rush to work out but after labor and caring for a newborn I was like F that I just had a baby! An actual baby, I just created life, I'm not worried about getting in the damn gym. I hate the term "snap back" ughhh I really hate it lol. It gives such a standard, the faster you snap back the better, so not the case. It's nothing to push, don't put so much pressure on yourself. I'd say the major key in weight loss and getting my stomach back to being flat has been breastfeeding. After two days breastfeeding my stomach was already nearly flat, but as you can imagine, with zero muscle or tone, it was jelly! I've read that you burn about 500 calories a day breastfeeding. I honestly don't think I would have been so open to breastfeeding if it weren't for my sister, that's another story for another day. But I'm so glad I'm still breastfeeding, it's the most amazing feeling ever and I recommend everyone to try it. It's not for everyone and everyone aren't always able to. Don't shame other moms for formula feeding.
